DESMA sliding devices, used in conjunction with split bar molds are efficient methods to produce rubber to metal bonded bushings. Knock out devices coupled with laser scanners integrated into the machine control system allow for automated production methods.

The retractable injection unit and fixed mold lower bolster allow for stack tooling and center mounted cold runner distribution decks for increased productivity.

A D 968.500 ZZ dual ram shown with front plate exchange kit. This machine features two fully hydraulic cylinders that provide a very homogeneous distribution of clamp tonnage inside the mold carrier. The relatively small injection volume, coupled with this large heating platen and siding device are ideal for large EV battery gaskets or bi-polar plate production.
